February 16-17, 2002 FOSDEM in Brussels, Belgium

At the Free & Open Source Developer's European Meeting, Richard Dale will hold a talk about KDE bindings. There is also a KDE Developers' room available.

March 13-20, 2002 CeBIT in Hannover, Germany

KDE will be present at no less than 2 to 4 partner-booths at CeBIT, each with a different emphasis on the great new features of KDE in its latest 3.0 incarnation.

May 4, 2002 LinuxMeeting 2002 in Bologna, Italy

David Faure gave a talk there and also some italian translators were present at the meeting.

May 29-31, 2002 LinuxWorld Expo 2002 in Tokyo, Japan

KDE had a booth in the ".org Pavilion" to introduce and demonstrate KDE3.0 and KOffice1.1.1.

The presence of KDE was managed by Yoichiro Takehora

June 6-9, 2002 Linuxtag in Karlsruhe, Germany

LinuxTag is the largest open source event in Europe. KDE was present with a booth with several demo points showing latest KDE, several talks and workshops.

From the webpage: "For the fourth year, LogOn Technology Transfer is organizing a series of Linux events throughout Europe called Linux@work. In 2002, these 1-day, city-to-city events will take place in eleven European venues."

KDE is had a 18qm booth staffed by Rainer Endres, Ralf Nolden, Michael Brade, Kurt Pfeiffle, Timo Hummel, Holger Schröder and Eva Brucherseifer. Ralf Nolden gave several workshops on KDE.
