Qt Designer is a powerful application that can make creating complex interfaces simple and quick. We look at the benefits of using Designer versus hand coding interfaces, such as being able to work closer with usability experts, as well as various tips and tricks. We will start with the basics and move on to more advanced topics such as working with layouts to get the best results, KConfigXT integration and using .ui files with tools such as KJSEmbed.
