Deploying KDE Using The Kiosk Framework

This presentation will describe how to best utilize the KDE Kiosk framework when deploying desktop machines across an organization. In addition to the general mechanics behind Kios, we cover how to lock down settings, set dynamic defaults and create and manage multiple setting profiles are covered. The target audience are system administrators and those generally interested or involved in desktop deployment. Accompanying the slides, changes to live text configuration files as well as demos of kiosktool and kconfigeditor will provide real world examples.
